The Memory of Home

IMG_1875

In the pause between thoughts

silence whispers the language

of the forgotten self

I’ve been dreaming of home

the land outside walls

offers the great hope of peace

Inside the body

mind chatters fear

while the memory of love

hides in the fragmented soul

I’ve been dreaming of the womb

I thought I was created

from a legacy of cells

I thought home was a structure

subject to decay

until I remembered light

crumbles the illusion of Truth

retuning home to the opened heart
